Proceed with caution to DecibelMagazine.com to experience the full onslaught of "invigorating and nerve-wracking debauchery" (Dead Rhetoric) that is Brooklyn-based black metallists MUTILATION RITES' newest effort, "Harbinger." Featuring eight tracks Pitchfork describes as a "nightmarish merger between black, death, d-beat, and doom," the album was recorded with longtime collaborator Kevin Bernsten (TRIAC) at Developing Nations in Baltimore, while mastering was completed by James Plotkin (ISIS, Sun 0))), Pelican).
Scheduled for release next Tuesday (22), "Harbinger" is still available for pre-order as a CD, Cassette Tape or Gatefold 180-Gram LP. Order it HERE.
