i like black metal but there is sooo much to make fun of in that whole scene. i'm currently reading "Lords of Chaos" and i've realised that a lot of those black metal guys were a bunch of fucking tools, especially euronymous! he basically started the whole scene simply to look and act more "evil" than normal death metal bands, which to me is fucking stupid and pointless. most of those guys were a bunch of what would be known as "scenesters" today.
and in keeping with the topic of the thread, i have seen a few black metal bands in concert and although they kicked ass musically, they did look like a bunch of queers, with all their tight leather pants, black mesh t-shirts, spiked gauntlets, etc...
