Ok, no high horse here....

Im no super shredder, nor do I know how to hot rod mod a Tube amp.
That said, I have been playing music for a long time, and listening to it since I was a tiny choade.

Everyone is gonna have their favs, when it comes to gear. Usually people find what they like (if they can afford it), and stick to it. Theres so many combinations, you may never find that perfect sound, so if you find one youre happy with, great.
However, this obviously may not work AT ALL for another guitarist in your own band, let alone a different genre of music, etc.

It comes down to your playing technique and your playing style.

If someone that plays with more emotion, or feel, would he benefit from a digital-ish uniformed sound?

Maybe,
Maybe not.

Would the howl of an old Orange stack, suit a more technical, booktaught player?
Maybe ....Maybe not.

See what Im gettin at here?

Of course there will be narrow categories, and eventually it may come down to 4 or 5 that may actually do what you want, but to say the best pickup/guitar/Amp Head/ Cab is *blank*, is basically your own opinion, which may help or hinder others, but is never wrong.

So the answer is yes, HZ's thru a Behringer all the way!!!
HAHAHAHAHAHALOLZ!!
