being packed in like sardines in the stadium is the last thing I think they're worrying about.

Try being a journalist covering the Olympics in China, walking around with that feeling you are being watched. You look over your shoulder and see a couple shady characters, no big deal though, there's 1.3 billion people around it's just a random couple of dudes. The next day, you're on your way to the stadium, feel like you're being watched again, and behind you are the same shady dudes. This time they walk toward you and start asking you questions. The questions are so random you get thrown off and don't know what to say. Next thing you know you're in prison for no reason, except you looked suspicious and they believe you are there against China's interest.

Google what's been going on to journalists in China, there's plenty out there. Check out what they do to their own people who speak out against the government. It's pretty fucked up stuff!
