I come from old school thrash but I dig the stuff some of the newer techy bands are doing. It's hard to put a finger on when it's done "right" since there is indeed a lot of trash out there too and it's hard to define what makes some trash and the rest not. Using the Faceless as an example, their new single is really really bizarre, and I can't say I liked it when I first heard it, but now I love it with the blatant dissonance.
