Acariya has come out of hiding with an update regarding what the Providence/Boston Metal quintet has been up to.

"We have definitely been on a show hiatus. We are back playing shows again and couldn't be happier. Sometimes after being out on the battlefield for so long, you need to regroup and reassess.

"You will see all the same faces in Acariya in 2009 but we have been working on where we want to take our sound. We have been playing some new tunes at shows lately and so far we have gotten great responses.

"We hope to go on the road soon to support our self-titled release on Hold True Recordings, see some old faces and a whole lot of new faces… and asses. Thank you to everyone who has supported us up to this point. The road is always bumpy but the army marches on."
