Adolf Satan formed in 2002 in the wake of the breakup of Anal Cunt. Guitarist Josh Martin and drummer John Gillis were going to join Upsidedown Cross but instead decided to start a brand new band with Upsidedown Cross singer Larry Lifeless. John was also playing with Kevorkian's Angels and brought in their bassist Nick Camellari. After only a couple of gigs John left to join Today Is The Day. He was briefly replaced by Anal Cunt's Seth Putnam for 2 gigs. Then in 2003 ex-AC drummer Nate Linehan took over and Adolf Satan began gigging regularly for the next few years.
They released a demo in 2003 and in 2004 they signed to Bestial Onslaught Productions and released their self titled album that November which was followed by a U.S. tour that took them as far as New Orleans.
In 2005 Nick left the band and was replaced by Nate's brother Sean.
2006 saw the release of the Ooga Booga Cab Company demo.
In 2008, due to both Anal Cunt and Larry's old band Kilslug getting back together, Adolf Satan called it a day
