Bio
|
Motion Sickness was a 70's arena rock band that had old school hardcore vocals.
The band featured Jonah "Bloodbath" Livingston (drums), Joseph Wight (bass/vocals), Benjamin "Benny" Frank (vocals), and Nicholas "Faust Agin Eddie" Cigarettes (guitars).
MS started as a joke side-band to How They Light Cigarettes In Prison (Nick's a capella hardcore project) and Jonah's hardcore/metal band As Long As We're All Living We're All Dying -- sort of a way to kill time in the summer. This was a chance for Joseph and Nicholas to play in a band together doing Zeppelin-esque and Rick Springfield-esque song.
As thing became more fun and noodley, the band picked up the pace and eventually added Benjamin Frank on vocals after he asked to join at an ice cream social.
The band was only around for a few months, went on a brief tour, and had a final show at the HOSS in January of 2004. The members went on to do Melville together seperate from Nicholas, who shortly after leaving started The Taste of Silver with Rowan Curran and Alex Carrara of Arlington.
Jonah still does As Long As We're All Living We're All Dying. |
