New site? Maybe some day.

Ok we got the word that we're playing. So we're just eating and hauling ass!!!

I just missed the first band (some band from NJ that I guess just showed up) waiting for the second now. now sure who they are.
the miles between |
im guessing that band from NJ was knife the glitter. |
no, while knife the glitter did play, the first band was Stray From The Path from Long Island, not Jersey. |
oh, and this was a good show. Too bad it was a classic Living Room turnout and there was such a debacle figuring out if it was happening or not. |
pictures.
I can't stay awake any longer. |
Well, if any of the bands that did play or the bands that were suppose to play but, broke up put any flyers up, this might have done better. |
i thought it did rather well. i think about 50 kids showed up. which is good for providence on a weekday...all of the bands on this show were amazing. im so glad it ended up happening. |

that would be assuming that it was still our responsibillity, which it wasn't. Also, Psyopus wouldn't have even played if I didn't fucking run around like a maniac yesterday, so just calm down. |
actually, I just remembered that we did flyer for that show by handing them out at shows for about 3 months before we parted ways with our drummer. |
Come on Rev, lets get a review on this show! |

3 months ago, oh, good job.
I said..."for about 3 months"...so we flyered from about May until early July. Probably handed out a couple hundred flyers. Come on, reading comp. Then the show was not ours anymore and the flyers were outdated. Figured the new bands would try to support the show. |

ya we have been flyering this show since april up until early july at every show we played. we even flyered for it at itdiestoday/hastetheday. and they were also up at the living room for a good 3 months. this show also would have done better if psyopus didnt officially cancell the show the day of. and then decide to play later on. dont get me wrong, i dont blame them cus they werent sure if they were gonna get there guarantee. but ya there are a lot of reasons it didnt draw. most of which i dont give two shits about. i actually like it better when there arent many people at a show.
ps- anonymous = lame |
my guess is that anonymous didnt even go to the show. |
I read this whole thread and declare that the moon landings were obviously fake, fuck you! |
haha...you're right we shouldn't be taking this seriously. |

knife the glitter: the singer and bassist hoped around like bunnies and tip-toe around the stage? Hiding behind things and running eradically around the stage. I think all the people in the front row were with them cause they were messing with them. The singer ran around in the crowd too. When thestarted out it sounded like psyopus's the whitelight song played over and over a few times.
concubine, the: I was thinking that they sort of sounded like JFAC. Then someone yelled that from the crowd. they are in the same genre, but at about 1/2 the speed. The guitarist with the side-show mel hair was a fill-in. He broke a string so they cover the beginning or a korn song and behemoth.
acariya: they had a bunch of people for them their. That's cool. I kept catching the singer making silly faces. I deleted most of those. the end pictures look like they are using magic missle... use it on the darkness! |
What about the rest of the bands, rev?? |
miles between, the: friggin heavy with that new guitar player. that's right, they added a new guitarist, john (ex-hostage heart). he just adds to how rediculously heavy they are.
psyopus: they said that they were going to play mostly new stuff. I think it was a 50/50 toss up between new songs and old songs. I heard a could of the "worst" off the new CD before the set and they sounded awesome. some of the vocals on the new tracks sounded the same as the old CD, but live it sounded different. There was even one song that had vocals almost like cephlic vocals hybrid. This CD is going to rule hard. For those of you who thought that john (the new drummer) might not keep up with what greg laid down, you'd be wrong. He went through psyopus boot camp and made it through keeping up with chris. Awesome. |
sigh... greg is a cool dood |
