the specifics for each car are as follows.
1986
Nimbus Grey exterior
14 inch wheels
catless side exit exhaust (sounds amazing)
stock engine
aftermarket boost gauge
has been sitting since the winter and all it needs to run is a battery and to run reliably it needs a new tfi (40$ or so)
slight surface rust, otherwise the paint is great for being 20 years old.
130k on the odometer
stock T9 transmission
1988 (modified)
White exterior
15 inch wheels
side exit exhaust with stock cat in place and magnapack muffler
2 pod a-pillar gauge set up with autometer boost gauge and air/fuel meter

upgraded t5 transmission
gutted and polished upper and lower intakes
255 lph walbro fuel pump
new brakes
rapido front mount intercooler
bailey evo blow off valve
gillis valve set at 18 psi(manual boost controller)
nice interior that has survived the test of time (no cracks on the dash unlike most other Merkurs)
slight surface rust and dings with one dent in the rear that is easily fixed.
stock clutch is tired and slips
aluminum driveshaft
recent tune up
somewhat leaky power steering
AC delete
larger VAM and more aggressive ECU from 88 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe
-------------------
both cars have heated seats and grey leather interiors, power locks, steering, and brakes.
i ALSO have a magnitude of spare parts:
new stock pistons and rods
spare working T9 transmission (should be swapped into the 86)
spare stock VAMs and ECUs
and a bunch of other Merkur odds and ends
these cars are my passion and it hurts to post this but i really don't have the money and drive for them right now. so if anyone knows about these cars and would love to give them a great home please email me. Also is a video of the white one. in the video the car needed power steering fluid but you can hear how awesome the car sounds and how awesome the blow of valve sounds.
