After 6 years of doing something we care so passionately about, skycamefalling have decided to call it quits. The split was a band decision that was completely amicable and by no means was attributed to bad blood between band members or lack of effort. We all reached a point in our lives where other endeavors began to take precedence and sacrificing something we felt so passionate about would be unfair to ourselves, as well as our fans. The desire to finish school and tap into other formidable outlets of our lives requires our 100% dedication, leaving the dedication we put towards making this band what is was, secondary. We've always maintained an 'All or Nothing' philosophy in this band. Pushing ourselves and striving to be the best we could was fueled solely by our fans. We thank you.
Over the past 6 years, we found ourselves all over the country. Playing in places we never dreamed of visiting and to fans we never knew we had. We appreciate all the people that came up and talked to us at shows and made us feel at home when we were so far away. We met some great people and made some lifelong friends. It was always about the experience and chasing a dream and without those of you who cared enough to let us crash on your floor, couch, or closet, it would never have become a reality.
We personally would like to thank every promoter whoever booked us, All the great bands we've ever played with (too many to name), All of our friends and families for putting up with us over the past 6 years. Thank you to all of our fans from the bottom of our hearts.
We are forever indebted to the Long Island Hardcore scene for listening to us and giving us a chance to live our dream. While we were on tour, we represented Long Island the best we possibly could. We are and forever will be a Long Island Hardcore band.
Finally, we are playing the remainder of the shows we have booked with a final show in the works. Also, the 2 new tracks will be released sometime in the near future.
With Love & Appreciation,
Skycamefalling |

We would like to thank everyone who came out to the Local 7 this past week. Both shows were absolutely incredible and we would like to thank everyone for supporting us throughout the years. We have a few more shows left which have been added to the tours section. We are going to be playing our first and last European show at this years Good Life festival. We are all really excited about the opportunity to play there and we would like to thank everyone who helped make this possible. Details on our final show should be up in the next few weeks. The show will be both our final show as well as our record release for the 2 songs which were recorded for what was to be our full length album. We also want to thank everyone for writing to us and letting us know how you feel about our decision. It means the world to us to hear from people who enjoyed the music that we played. We plan on writing back to everyone, so be patient.

in a related story....
skycamefalling was stupid. only stupid people liked them. they had shitty breakdowns, dumb haircuts and some of the worst lyrics ever. their entire fanbase was composed of emo nerds who wanted to call themselves hardcore. they broke up because they actually listened to thier retarded cds for once and realized they were the biggest waste of time ever.
