Grindcore powerhouse Heisai Yasokawa's EMPTY ORCHESTRA from Saugus, MA have just recorded three songs to be released on an undesignated split record. The band is hoping to do a split 7" vinyl with an accompanying CD version. Each of the songs sketches a portrait of our world as it is: bathed in self deceit, submerged in addiction, and bound to death. Not sure who to ask. There's plenty of bands we like, but many of them are local or just released a record. 5 Minutes of music / 3 songs isn't enough to have a record on its own, so I dunnow. I guess we'll keep holding out for something cool.
