To the Wolves Needs a Guitarist
So, our guitar player is moving to California at the end of July and the revolving door of To the Wolves continues to spin round round. The songwriting core of the band remains and still wants to write and perform the most heavy/evil music possible. We're looking for a unique, committed guitar player who lives and breathes music and plays just for the love. If you're interested we can get you music to begin the process, we have most things recorded and will put down our newest material soon. The right person will have every song tracked, so play along and when we jam please know your shit. This is going to force us to take another god damn hiatus.

No shit, sucks! All I wanted to do was enjoy the summer drinking beer and playing music. Two years in a fucking row! |

Yo, for anyone interested, our guitar player will also make vids of him playing the tunes to make this transistion easier. |

It happens ALL the time, it's the nature of bands. The expectations, goals, styles (etc.) within a band usually vary a good deal, and let's face it, you end up spending more time with bands than you do with GFs/REG friends/family.
It's a hard thing to go through.. Obviously i TOTALLY empathize, but look at it as a way to grow, and find someone that can bring new and exciting things to the table. |
DNA- good luck in your search guys, i'm sure you'll find a good fit. |
Well he's moving on cause he just doesn't want to be here anymore, I understand that shiz. After we lost our drummer we found a much better fit with the new guy so I'm hoping the same shit will happen this time. I may say fuck it and just crank the bass and be a three piece. |
3 piece meaning bass, drums and vocal. |
why not? People have done it. You'd have to really focus on your strong points if you did that though. I bet you guys could do it. I saw a band years ago that played with another two piece (mahi mahi) and the bass player played very heavy, groovy stuff with a super distorted tone, and looped it live, then did a lead line over it with a different tone. He was able to continue evolving the sound to start and stop the loops during changes, it was really impressive and sounded great. I know that's a lot of work, but you could consider it. |
Well I'm sure we'll be practicing and writing that way for a while so we'll see how it sounds. |
Advantages to playing in our band.
We record everything ourselves, do all our own artwork, have a nice, cheap practice space($50 a month), play a lot of shows with sweet bands and we really like to play. I write all the tunes but there is lots of room to do crazy expiremental stuff, especially with the guitar and always open to new material. We've been around for about two years and are working on our third release. |
Still looking, no luck yet. |
no luck, still searching. |
Hate is building, must play evil....need guitarist or I'm gonna to chop people into bits and hide limbs in my closet. Please, save a life, play guitar for us, please! |
hey, do you have anything tabbed out? also what do you tune to? interested for sure. |
