Nachzehrer - Black Thrash Ritual (Demo, 2010)
First demo for this combo U.S. engaged in a dirty black metal with thrash widely as you can easily guess even the title. This line-up of Nachzehrer: Hräsvelg - voice Víðarr - guitar; Amorok - guitar; Czarnobóg - bass; Diablo - drums. The American quintet formed in 2009 and this is the first work issued in the form of CD-R. This self-production.
"Incestual Demoncy" It starts immediately with the accelerator to the floor with the first beautiful, trace a real burst of violence in profusion. Literally incredible intake rhythmic drummer Diablo. A real war machine. Fast guitar riffs and powerful at the same time. Excellent contribution rhythmic bass, a beautiful voice in the scream of Hräsvelg aggressive and ferocious. Exceeded two and a half minutes the whole composition range, aided by a splendid break followed by a restart around a guitar chord (cleverly distorted). The restart is reasoned and less violent. There is also a wonderful guitar insert cleverly designed with a distorted guitar properly. After this gentle composition brackets back in the last minute, to the office with a radical change of pace, the sheer violence.
"Onward to Hellfrost" good pace to start. After a few seconds of stasis composition stands on medium-high time. After the first minute we hear all the talent behind the drumkit Diablo (author, throughout the demo, a perfect test). The drawing intricate guitar riffs that intersect in the wall of rhythm. The voice is, as always, excellent and constantly scream. From the second minute onwards, the composition varies dramatically due to the sudden acceleration dyeing of track pitch black. In the piece there are numerous changes of tempo and rhythm that give longevity to the demo.
"Plague Bringer: Commence Death March" a punch in the face. Since the beginning part in a violent tirade this penultimate track of the lot. Beautiful intake of instrumental guitarist and drummer (also grappling with difficult phrases from the technical point of view). Incredible feeling of absolute chaos caused by the Americans. The level of rot sound is truly remarkable. Also in this track there are plenty of twists. Well over two minutes, in fact, we find a great change of time. The track moves to the border with more funereal doom, but that's just for a minute. Once this part we find the usual furious thrash / black metal with lots of insert hyper-distorted guitar to close the best track.
"Bärsärkar-gang" the last track of the demo is no different and closes the work in the best way giving us moments of profound violence mixed with the less skillfully drawn. Wonderful weaving of instrumental guitar and drums (which more than a moment ago by rhythmic department alone).
In conclusion a great demo that highlights the many strengths and peculiarities of a group intended to do great things in the near future. Hoping that someday some label industry is aware of them.
For the moment I can only advise all lovers of extreme sounds, especially to lovers of black / thrash metal. Demo also impeccable in terms of sound production: virtually crystal clear.
