bennyhillifier You won't have any trouble staying wide-eyed for this slasher classic (slashic?). Wes Craven broke the mold when he dreamt up Fred Krueger. It's one thing to be a master of horror, there are many, but only a few creators have birthed characters, true boogeymen, that have become physical (dis)embodiments of terror. What had started with Leatherface, Michael Myers, and Jason Voorhees, was finished when Craven cut a film featuring a killer who could kill you in your dreams.
