Listening to Deafheaven for the first time...
Is this really supposed to be a black metal band? It sounds like someone accidentally turned on the radio playing Wolves in the Throne Room while a generic post rock band was playing. |

No they're not "supposed to be." that label has been thrown on them since they have elements of black metal. Their appeal has worn of for me for the most part buy god forbid bands mix elements of black metal with "post rock." |
