New site? Maybe some day.

First one since 2009 I believe. They're usually a blast. This year Einherjer is headlining. I only really care about them and SIG:AR:TYR but maybe the others will be a surprise.
The venue is pretty sweet, kind of like the Middle East but the layout is much better.
Interested to see if they add more bands this year; Morrigan was supposed to play in 09 but couldn't make it over. :/
I doubt many people here would be willing to travel over there, but I definitely might. Wouldn't mind catching Einherjer. |

I would love to go to this, but I don't think I can justify it money and timing wise. |
that all said, the travel part doesn't bother me at all, I love road trips! |
Its a fun drive. Rt 90 to Chicago, then rt 94 straight up though Wisconsin. |
Road trips are excellent. Even better when there's metal at the end of it. |

Ooof, sounds like a violent car accident. |
heh, revise to 'heavy metal music concert' at the end of it |
fuck that drive. how much are plane tickets? |
Couldn't be much if you get them soon. Telling ya, drive ain't bad if a few people share |

Nah, go 90 past Chicago and into Wisconsin. 90 and 94 merge at Madison and when they split apart again is when you take 94. |
Ah, you're right. I havent been over there for a few years. CLOSE ENOUGH. |
at least $300 round trip for flights.
you'll spend nearly $100 in tolls (Illinois tolls are the worst) and have to drive thru 4 big ass states that don't decriminalize pot. 24 hour drive? Wouldn't be so negative if you didn't have to drive in Winter. I don't know shit about any of the bands, just like road tripping, dawg. |
