I never heard of Ostrogoth before. I missed your break and I thought it was some new band pulling on retro influences. I was listening to it and thought "this is equal parts Mercyful Fate, Dianno era Iron Maiden, and something that would be on Metal Blade in the mid eighties"
Looking it up on the Metal Archives showed it was Mausoleum Records in 1984. The ears don't fail me.

Yeah dude, Ostrogoth rules. Belgium had a sick scene back in the day. A friend of mine showed me a VHS a while back that she got in Europe that had live videos of them, Acid, Crossfire, Killer, and Warhead.
I was supposed to see Ostrogoth at Keep it True 2011, but one of their members (I think the guitarist, I'm not sure) ended up being hospitalized so they had to cancel :-(
